Evolved or designed?

Its funny. On TV tonight was a documenatry about the human eye.

The opening lines said something like, "Tonight we are going to look at what they eye has evolved into"...or something or other.

Then, throughout the program, they talk about what an odd/interesting/clever design.

????

Make up your mind guys, did it evolve or was it designed?
